Find out who's going to be at BookCon 2018 and where to buy tickets!

The next BookCon will be held on June 2-3, 2018, and the preliminary lineup was just announced! The last event’s lineup included names like Chad Michael Murray, Kevin Hart, Marissa Meyer, Laini Taylor, Rainbow Rowell, Leigh Bardugo, Holly Black, and many more. What’s in store next year?

A few celebrities with upcoming book releases will be in attendance, which is on par for years past. This year, Taye Diggs (Rent, Empire) will be there friend Shane Evans to promote their children’s picture book, I Love You More. Zach King, well-known on social media, will be talking about his middle grade novel Zach King: The Magical Mix-Up. Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black, Jane the Virgin) will also attend to chat about My Family Divided, her middle-grade nonfiction book about her experiences as the child of undocumented immigrants.

As for the authors we already know and love: Angie Thomas (The Hate U Give), Victoria Aveyard (Red Queen), Leigh Bardugo (Six of Crows), Kami Garcia (Broken Beautiful Hearts), Jason Reynolds (Long Way Down), and Marissa Meyer (Cinder) are all already confirmed. This is only the beginning of BookCon’s announcements, though, and new guests will keep getting announced up until the actual show.

If panels aren’t really your thing, BookCon also has a huge show floor filled with publishers, vendors and other groups. HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House, Hachette, Scholastic and more will have their own booths with things to win, buy and see.

Tickets are now on sale at BookCon’s website, and prices range from $10  for a kids one-day ticket to $55  for a weekend-long adult ticket. As usual, tickets are cheaper if you buy online in advance. The event will be at NYC’s Javits Center, which is the same location as in years past.

If you’re looking for press or bulk tickets, it looks like that information is “coming soon.” We’ll update as soon as information becomes available.
