1. Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab

 

This highly anticipated sequel to This Savage Song comes out June 13. If you like monsters and music and wars, this series might be for you!

2. Roar by Cora Carmack

If that cover isn’t enough to sway you, maybe you’ll want to get your hands on Roar when you hear that it involves sentient storms, magical storm hunters, and a princess who goes out into the wilds in search of magic. Get it on June 13.

3. Now I Rise by Kiersten White

The sequel to And I Darken is almost here! If you like fantasies with alternative histories (in this case, revolving around the Ottoman empire), you may want to check this series out. It’s been described as “dark” on Goodreads, and also “totally f***ed up. In the best possible way.” Get book two on June 27. 

4. Royal Bastards by Andrew Schvarts

This YA fantasy follows a story about rebellion and civil war, focusing on a band of bastards that work together to save everyone. It was actually published May 30, but hey, that’s basically June, right?

5. The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

Two friends, 18th-century Europe, a magical artifact… what could go wrong? There are pirates, highwaymen, and — wait for it — boys who like boys! Get it on June 27!

6. Song of the Current by Sarah Tolcser

Water magic, politics, lies, pirates and romance. That’s right. This debut from Sarah Tolcser has gotten great reviews! Get yours June 6. 

7. Bad Romance by Heather Demetrios

Honestly, that cover is enough to reel you in, isn’t it? If it wasn’t, though: Bad Romance is about falling into the darkness and clawing your way back out. Find your way into it on June 13!

8. Once and for All by Sarah Dessen

Sarah Dessen’s name is recognizable to all lovers of YA, whether you read her books or not. Her next addition comes with Once and for All on June 6. It explores the wide world of wedding planning, and it’s a perfect read for a lighthearted summer. 

9. Want by Cindy Pon

Cindy Pon creates a sci-fi thriller based in Taipei with Want. Veronica Roth, author of Divergent, called it “fresh” and “compelling,” so it can’t be bad. Get your copy on June 13!

11. The Vampire Wish by Michelle Madow

If we’re being honest, you had us at “TWILIGHT MEETS ALADDIN.” Whatever your feelings about Stephanie Meyer, that sounds pretty awesome. Be honest with yourself. Vampires, slaves, supernatural wars, monstrous wolves… sign us up! Get your copy June 1.
